I can't log in

If you don’t remember your Notion password, you can reset it. To do so:

1. Go to notion.so/login in your web browser.

2. Select Forgot password?, enter your email address, then select Send reset link.

3. We'll send a link to your email address. Open the link to be taken to Settings in your Notion workspace, where you can set a new password.

   • If you do not set a new password at this point, your password will simply be removed and you can log in using temporary codes.

4. Log in again.

If you no longer have access to the email address you used to sign up for Notion, you can update the email address on your account from your settings as long as you have a Notion password set.

To update your account email:

1. Go to Settings in your sidebar → {your name}.

2. Under Account security, click Manage emails.

3. Click Add email, then enter the new email address you want to use.

4. Select Send verification code, then enter the code sent to your new email address.

5. Next to the new email address, open the ••• menu and select Make primary.

6. (Optional) Remove the old email address by selecting Remove.

If you don’t have a Notion password set:

You may be asked to verify using your old email address. If you no longer have access to that email, you won’t be able to complete the change from settings.
